The following information is taken from the Balm in Gilead's website.

The Balm In Gilead in partnership with Sweet Unity Farms Coffee, Tanzania’s premier international coffee of choice, is excited to give you the opportunity to share the blessings of giving while drinking your next cup of coffee.

With your next cup of coffee, you can support both the elimination of AIDS in Africa and the United States; you can support the continuum of care to children orphaned by AIDS in Sub-Sahara Africa and in America’s southern region. With your next cup of coffee, you can help bring clean water to poor villages in Tanzania and at the same time support homeless people with AIDS in America with a hot bath, clean clothes and food.

Sweet Unity Farms Coffee has partnered with the Balm In Gilead to raise funds to support the provision of HIV prevention, treatment and care to people in Sub-Sahara Africa and America. Funds will also support local farmers of the Mshikamano Farmers Group as well as local villages with essential commodities, such as clean water. The Mshikamano Farmers Group is headed by David Robinson, son of Baseball legend Jackie Robinson. Living in Tanzania for over 20 years, David Robinson is a Tanzanian coffee farmer, a member of a 400 member cooperative, coffee exporter and buyer. In partnership with the Balm In Gilead, David Robinson is continuing the legacy of both his father and mother by lifting the consciousness of our global village to a higher way of thinking and being. David and I would like to invite you to purchase Sweet Unity Farms Coffee and make your next cup of coffee support the preservation of life in Sub-Sahara Africa and America. A portion of your purchase of Sweet Unity Farms Coffee will support the following:

• Educational programs, health assistance, rural electrification and farm input credits to local Tanzania farmers and their communities;

• Develop and fully fund faith-based HIV prevention, testing, counseling and care centers in all regions of Tanzania, including Zanzibar.

• Fully fund the Balm In Gilead’s™ Mbonde Village Adoption Program in Tanzania by providing clean water, health and education services for children and families and the reduction of poverty;

• Directly fund the development and implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care programs within urban and rural African-American communities throughout the United States.

I invite you to explore the pages of this website to learn more about the Balm In Gilead and Sweet Unity Farms Coffee partnership as well as the work that each of our respective organizations conduct each and every day.

Imagine your next cup of coffee can help save a life!

As Always, I AM yours in the Consciousness of Abiding Faith!
